The BreizhGo Oc\u00e9ane Fleet \u2013 Operated for the Regional Council of Brittany<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Composed of seven vessels \u2014 Bangor, Vindilis, \u00cele de Groix, Kerdonis, Melvan, Saint Tudy,<\/strong> and Breizh Nevez I<\/strong> \u2014 the BreizhGo Oc\u00e9ane fleet operates daily maritime connections between Quiberon, Lorient,<\/strong> and the islands of Morbihan.<\/strong>
All our ships are accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM) and meet high environmental standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vessels Operating on the Quiberon <> Belle-\u00cele Line<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Bangor \u2014 Faithful to the Belle-\u00cele Service<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Bangor made its first commercial crossings in June 2006. It measures 46 m in length and 12 m in width. With a capacity of 450 passengers and 32 vehicles, it connects Quiberon<\/strong> to Le Palais (Belle-\u00cele)<\/strong> in 50 minutes at a speed of 12 knots. Safety sheet<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>

Vindilis \u2014 An Unbreakable Link with Belle-\u00cele<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Vindilis entered service in 1998. \u201cVindilis\u201d was the first name used on ancient maps to designate Belle-\u00cele-en-Mer.<\/strong> Measuring 48 m long and 12.5 m wide, it sails at 12 knots and carries up to 399 passengers and 39 vehicles. Safety sheet<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>

Kerdonis \u2014 Fast Launch and Clean Ship<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

As the first Clean Ship<\/em>-certified vessel in the fleet, Kerdonis<\/strong> is a fast passenger craft dedicated to the Quiberon \u2013 Le Palais<\/strong> and Quiberon \u2013 Sauzon<\/strong> summer routes.
Measuring 30.75 m long and 8 m wide, it carries up to 295 passengers (no vehicles) and can reach 20 knots, linking Quiberon to Belle-\u00cele in just 30 minutes. Safety sheet<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>

Vessels Operating on the Lorient <> Groix Line<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Breizh Nevez I \u2014 Modernity and Comfort to Groix<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Commissioned in April 2018, Breizh Nevez I<\/strong> is the newest ferry (roll-on\/roll-off type<\/em>) in the fleet.
At 43.5 m long, it can carry up to 300 passengers and 18 vehicles between Lorient<\/strong> and Groix<\/strong> in 45 minutes at 11.5 knots.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u00cele de Groix \u2014 Sistership of the Bangor<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In service since 2008, this versatile ferry mainly operates between Lorient<\/strong> and \u00cele de Groix<\/strong>, and occasionally between Quiberon<\/strong> and Belle-\u00cele.<\/strong>

Saint-Tudy \u2014 Elder of the Fleet<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Commissioned in 1985, the Saint-Tudy<\/strong> is the oldest vessel in the fleet. Now replaced by Breizh Nevez I<\/strong>, it serves as the backup ship on the Lorient <> Groix<\/strong> line.
This ferry can carry 380 passengers and 21 vehicles at 11.5 knots.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Vessel Operating on the Quiberon <> Houat <> Ho\u00ebdic Line<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Melvan \u2014 Between Houat and Ho\u00ebdic<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Commissioned in 2010, Melvan<\/strong> takes its name from a rocky islet located between Houat<\/strong> and Ho\u00ebdic<\/strong>, the two islands it serves.
With an average speed of 16.5 knots, it connects Quiberon<\/strong> to Houat<\/strong> in 40 minutes and to Ho\u00ebdic<\/strong> in 55 minutes.
