Waste management on the islands of Morbihan<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Waste management is a major challenge for the islands of Groix, Houat, Ho\u00ebdic, and Belle-\u00cele-en-Mer. In partnership with local municipalities and environmental protection associations, we raise awareness among travelers throughout the year to encourage eco-friendly behavior: using onboard bins during the crossing, adopting the right habits on the islands, and bringing back daily waste to the mainland.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This small island located 14 km off the coast of Quiberon experiences high tourist activity in summer, which leaves visible and harmful traces on the environment. In collaboration with the Houat town hall and Bretagne Vivante, we are co-organizing an eco-citizen beach clean-up on Saturday, February 26.
The goal: to raise public awareness about the impact of waste left on beaches or washed ashore by the sea, especially on marine life and seabirds.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

You will board the Melvan at 9:25 a.m. towards Houat. During the 40-minute crossing, Bretagne Vivante will offer an educational session for all ages about protecting local wildlife and flora. Upon arrival on the island, they will guide you through the beach clean-up on two of the island\u2019s most beautiful beaches.
A hot coffee will be waiting for you at the town hall at the end of the activity before your return crossing at 2:05 p.m. Please bring your own picnic lunch and a pair of gloves.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
