Access the new Quiberon ferry terminal

After more than a year and a half of work, the new Quiberon ferry terminal welcomed its first travelers on November 17, 2022. Whether heading to or coming from Belle-Île-en-Mer, Houat, or Hoëdic, the new building is now the departure point for mainlanders and the terminus for islanders!
Accessing the new ferry terminal
Whether you reach the Quiberon boarding point on foot, by bike, by car, or by public transport, you access the new ferry terminal by following the directional signage installed around and near the terminal.
Please note that near the terminal, parking spaces are limited and subject to time restrictions (between 20 minutes and 4 hours). However, quick stops can be made near the terminal. To reach the islands calmly, plan your parking in advance and check all parking options and facilities near the Quiberon ferry terminal.
Please note that only chauffeur-driven vehicles with a valid transport ticket for the upcoming departure can access and park in the boarding area.
Bus line 1 stops and the shuttles from the Parking des Îles are located on the square in front of the ferry terminal.
All year round, Monday to Sunday, 30 minutes before the first departure until the last departure of the day.
Boarding from the new ferry terminal
Pedestrians: where to board?
Pedestrians with a valid ticket can access boarding directly 20 minutes before departure, passing through the building interior to reach the outdoor boarding area by using the boarding gates.
Pedestrians without a ticket must go to the ticket office inside the new ferry terminal before accessing the outdoor boarding area through the boarding gates.
For traveling to Belle-Île-en-Mer by bike, boarding takes place outside along the passage next to the ferry terminal. If you don’t have a ticket, you must first go to the ticket office.
If you are traveling to Belle-Île-en-Mer by vehicle, the boarding parking, reserved for drivers only, is located behind the ferry terminal. Easily accessible thanks to directional signage, drivers are invited to arrive 45 minutes before the ship’s departure. Passengers in the vehicle should board through the terminal interior and boarding gates with their transport tickets.
Access to the ferry terminal freight service
Access to freight, especially for professionals, is through the top of the building.
Ongoing works
The opening of the new Quiberon ferry terminal does not mark the end of construction. Indeed, the old building was demolished to make way for the new boarding parking. The exterior of the site is now under development.
