Quiberon – Le Palais is much more than a simple journey: it’s a boat crossing that captures the spirit of adventure, an invitation to discover an island full of character. From the moment you leave Quiberon and wait for the island to appear on the horizon, settle in and take in the views: the boat’s departure from Port Maria against the current, followed by a glimpse of the iconic Turpault Castle. Inside, enjoy the cozy warmth and a peaceful view from a porthole, or head outside to embrace the sea air and not miss a moment of this magical experience. Watch seabirds dancing above the deck and the ocean passing beneath you as Belle-Île comes into view in less than an hour.
Upon arrival in Le Palais, Belle-Île’s main port, you’ll be struck by the impressive Vauban Citadel watching over the harbor. You’ve reached the largest island in Morbihan and Brittany — a place full of charm and serenity. As you disembark, you’ll be drawn to the warm and lively atmosphere of this port, rich in history and tradition. Le Palais invites you to wander its small streets, discover local shops, enjoy restaurants, and immerse yourself in its friendly vibe.
In summer, you can also board the Kerdonis shuttle and reach Sauzon in just 30 minutes.
