Compagnie Océane, a partner of many island cultural events, is once again supporting the International Island Film Festival of Groix, which will launch its 23rd edition this August 21st and run until August 25th.
A true Groix tradition
First launched in 2001, the FIFIG was born from a group of Groix residents passionate about cinema. Each edition is an invitation to travel and brings together island cultures from all over the world, as every year one or several islands are chosen to be spotlighted. This year, the spotlight will be on the Portuguese islands.
The festival is naturally aimed at cinema lovers, but it’s also a vibrant time when many shared moments come to life on the island of Groix. From morning until late at night, festival-goers can enjoy performances, concerts, and exhibitions.
