An exhibition at the Quiberon ferry terminal

The Compagnie Océane supports island cultural and artistic initiatives every year. As a partner of the association Savoir-faire des îles du Ponant, we host at the Quiberon ferry terminal an exhibition highlighting their project to create island glass.
THE "glass of the Ponant islands"
The glass of the Ponant islands is a project led by the association and carried out by Atelier Lucile Viaud. This project is the result of the work of the association’s members who made available discarded materials that allowed the creation of a natural glass industry. To promote this initiative, an exhibition “Glass of the Ponant islands” was created to trace the research process up to the first objects made from this Ponant islands glass.
A TRAVELLING EXHIBITION
The exhibition is designed to be travelling, to be present on the different islands. It is intended for island residents but also for tourists. First exhibited in Rennes, it begins its tour in Quiberon on March 8.
THE STARTING POINT: Quiberon ferry terminal
The exhibition will then travel to Belle-Île-en-Mer. That is why Compagnie Océane offered, before it sets sail, to host the exhibition at the Quiberon ferry terminal to promote this initiative to all travelers.
From March 8 to April 7, we invite you to come and discover the exhibition “Glass of the Ponant islands”, as well as the story revolving around the production of this island glass.
